Join us in a talking circle to learn the Mi'kmaq calendar as a way to understand that human and ecological health are interdependent. .
Catherine Martin will introduce "Keptekewiku" (frost month) to explore humans, the elements (water, air, earth, and fire) and other species' relations during this month. Catherine will also discuss how human health is interconnected with ecological health during this time of frost.
Catherine Martin is a Member of the Order of Canada and of the Millbrook Mi'kmaw Community in Truro.
